This warranty covers defective components and wrongly sent items. We provide a parts-only warranty.
Grand Central Auto Parts covers NO LABOUR COSTS for any item sold. If the part is defective, we will first try to replace it; if a replacement cannot be supplied, we will give a refund for the entire purchase price. If a reorder is placed prior to the return of the first component, we will charge for the second part and reimburse the previous purchase upon return. The cost of return postage will not be repaid. Please offer a comprehensive explanation as to why the component is being returned when contacting Grand Central Auto Parts.
If a component is returned that does not meet the specifications specified in this guarantee; Grand Central Auto Parts retains the right to charge a 25% restocking fee and deduct shipping costs from the refund.
Grand Central Auto Parts is not liable for things delivered to the address provided at the time of sale but not taken into possession by the client.
Items ordered for 'testing purposes only' or improperly ordered by the client are not returnable. Before ordering, confirm the actual part required with a mechanical or body specialist. We do an excellent job of shipping accurate components and would appreciate it if you, our client, did the necessary research before purchasing. Items returned after the warranty period will be returned to the sender without reimbursement. To be accepted, parts must be received within 90 days of the original shipping delivery date.
The following are some exclusions that will either void a warranty or are not covered by our normal 90-day guarantee.
Engines are full assemblies that include manifolds, oil pans, timing belts and covers, fuel injection, or carburetor, and only the long block is guaranteed. The following items are not included: manifolds, fuel injection, carburetor, hoses, timing belts, and covers, gaskets, seals, and oil pans. When an engine is sold or guaranteed, accessories like turbos, starters, air compressors, alternators, power steering pumps, optical distributors, or electrical water pumps are frequently excluded or not covered by the warranty. These parts will be covered by warranty if purchased individually. The water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, and potentially the timing chain are some things that may need to be changed. Because these components are deemed high-wear, Grand Central Auto components will not be held accountable for them.
Transmissions: We promise that it will shift properly, that the gears will be in excellent condition, and that the bearings will be in good condition. Before installation, thoroughly clean all gearbox components, including the oil pan. In all automatic gearboxes, change the oil and filter. Prior to installation, you must replace ALL seals and gaskets. Test the cooler and lines for flushing and flow. In the front pump, fully engage the torque converter. If you have a manual gearbox, you must replace the clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. Prior to installation, your flywheel must also be rotated. Fill and test the fluid to ensure correct levels.
Turbo seals are not guaranteed to be flawless. During the warranty term, these seals may need to be replaced.
